EN Camps: Tour of California

Join us as we ride some of the best roads and terrain that sunny California has to offer! Over seven days you will ride from the San Francisco Bay Area to Los Angeles, just hours ahead of the 2008 Tour of California!

Where else are you going to find such a well-thought out course, complete with marked turns, route sheets, controlled road access, and screaming fans at the KOMs and intermediate sprints, who confuse you for the competitor? Cycling fans, whackjobs and characters abound!

The Itinerary:

  • Feb 17: Campers arrive. Join us for the Prologue in Palo Alto!
  • Feb 18: Sausalito to Santa Rosa
  • Feb 19: Santa Rosa to Sacramento
  • Feb 20: Modesto to San Jose. First half campers exit camp, second half join camp.
  • Feb 21: Seaside to San Luis Obispo
  • Feb 22: Solvang time trial
  • Feb 23: Santa Barbara to Santa Clarita
  • Feb 24: Santa Clarita to Pasadena road race, concluding with a circuit race in Pasadena, Rich’s backyard!

The Route: TBA; We will post Google Earth files, profiles and photos after the route is published and we’ve done our recon of the course.

The Camp includes:

  • Official, one-of-a-kind EN Camps jersey!
  • All lodging: double occupancy; internet and laundry facilities available.
  • Meals: breakfast, lunch, and training nutrition each day. Celebration dinner at the camp's conclusion!
  • SAG support, and transportation of your bike and two gear bags during the camp.
  • Bike shipping services: Receipt of your bike in Monrovia, assembly, transport to start, disassembly, packing for shipment to your home. Campers are responsible for shipping costs.
